This is really an Awesome and informative post! Gold no longer dictates the purchasing power of the paper currencies and therefore does not have the power to influence the value of the dollar.

Hi Robin,

This is fascinating.

A bit of a history lesson for me as I have not invested in gold nor new of this situation WAY back in the day in the US. Always cool to see how currencies move.

As Lesley said I know crypto is all the rage now. I have purchased some Bitcoin, via earning Steem dollars and exchanging.

We will see how that goes.

Wow, Robin, that’s scary stuff! I think everyone suspects that a massive crash is coming, when is uncertain but there’s one on the way. How governments will deal with it is also pretty uncertain right now. Worrying times!
