In addition, any Mac model with an M1 or the chips after that will work. Apple Intelligences needs a lot of processing power so it has been limited only to a few Apple devices. Apple has stated that only iPhone users with an extra 4GB of storage will be able to use Apple Intelligence. However, the required storage space may expand as the features increase. Furthermore, the iPhone 16 will be continuing from the iPhone 15’s USB-C charging port. The iPhone 16 contains up to 27 hours of video playback while the Pro models can hold up to 33 hours of video playback. 

All iPhone 16 models will be available on 20 September but pre-orders open on September 13. The iPhone 16 will start at $799 and the iPhone 16 Plus’ base price will start at $899. The iPhone 16 Plus starts at $999 while the Pro Max model is priced at $1,199.

The main star of the event will undoubtedly be the iPhone 16 lineup. The most anticipated iPhone 16 has been said to be powered by the A17 Bionic chipset. The iPhone 16 and the Plus variants are expected to be around 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches respectively. The iPhone 16 Pro models have been reported to be larger than the iPhone 15 Pro model. The entire iPhone 16 lineup will feature the Action button, which was exclusive only to the iPhone 15 Pro models.

Additionally, Apple is working on bringing its AI technology into its virtual reality (VR) headset. This integration of Apple Intelligence into the Vision Pro is expected to improve the headset experience. However, this AI integration will not be available until 2025. 

Subscription plans for Apple Intelligence were also recently out in the air. The company is expected to monetise its AI technology which may extend to the AI features available in the Vision Pro.

Apple Intelligence is Apple’s AI system which creates a more personalised user experience. Furthermore, the AI tech assists users in various ways such as helping them refine their writing skills or even creating images.

The Vision Pro is Apple’s own VR headset which retails for $3,499 in the United States. The headset enables users to capture spatial videos and photos in 3D and turn existing 2D photos into spatial photos. 

There are currently talks surrounding a more affordable version of the headset which may be released in late 2025. There may be a compromise in the resolution of the displays to compensate for the price reduction. However, there are no set details about the developing ‘cheaper’ headset.
