The new smartphone by TECNO features a tri-fold inner display and two hinges which measure up to ten inches when the smartphone is fully opened. Among all other tro-fold smartphones in the market, the Phantom Ultimate 2 is the thinnest when folded. The company states that the Ultimate 2’s folded form measures only 11 mm. Additionally, the smartphone also features one of the thinnest battery covers of 0.25 mm.

This device is perfect for multitasking as it allows users to open and use three apps simultaneously. The Phantom Ultimate 2 also supports a stylus making it a perfect and portable alternative to standard tablets.

Ultimate Phantom 2: More features of this smartphone

TECNO has claimed that its smartphone can bear up to 300,000 folds which exceeds the standard of most foldable devices. It also allows screen hovering which is ideal for users who want to use the phone in different ways. For instance, the phone can be used as a mini tablet when folded once and set upright. Furthermore, the Phantom Ultimate 2 has a tent mode ideal for real-time AI translation.

The Ultimate 2 comes with an OLED Touch and a 3K LTPO screen. In addition, the smartphone is also equipped with a TDDI (Display Driver Integration). TECNO’s tri-fold smartphone offers users dynamic wallpapers as well as customizable adaptive icons that are adjustable when the phone folds and unfolds.

This innovative tri-fold smartphone has not been released yet but the company is also planning to release its other line of foldable devices such as the Phantom V Flip 2 5G and the Phantom V Fold 2 5G.
