A search engine optimization strategy (SEO) features a sitemap along with a variety of advantages. Sitemaps are a good way of helping search engines to navigate a website to let your search engines know that websites are available and can crawl through the sitemap.

A sitemap is a file where you offer information about the pages, videos, and other items on your site and the connection between them.

A map shows the pages and files you believe to be significant and gives useful information on these files to Google. For instance, the latest update of the page and any other language versions of the page.

How is sitemap helpful for your website?

For designing a new website, a map is just as important as preparing a road trip. Without it, you and the user might face unplanned and perhaps unpleasant stops on their website trip. As the name indicates, a map represents your website visually to help people discover information.

A sitemap will guide customers where they want to go instead of walking around in a circle to leave your website in frustration, finally as an essential tool to create a functional and helpful website.

1.Why a sitemap of your website is essential:

A map built with explicit purposes might drive the success of a website, provide an essential link between your pages and your search engine, and foster the user experience necessary for the website’s conversion process.

Sitemaps have been part of the best practice of web design for a long time, not a novelty. However, they are now considerably more significant by using search engine sitemaps, and it is even more vital to design them properly.

A well-structured map of the location will allow people to browse your site across all search engines and deliver more accurate search results when looking for keywords related to the content. The search engine is notified to robots (.txt) by which part of the site should not be indexed. The web-based search engine tells them where they can go according to you.

2. Always have a goal in mind:

A map might enable you to explain the objectives of your site before you begin to design or create content. You may make sure that every aspect will strengthen your dreams by choosing exactly what you want on your pages and then laying them out. Then it is feasible, before they are an essential part of the site’s design, to cut elements that are not directly linked to the pages.

After connecting with your material, the visitor is wondering what to do. The way your seating map travels across your site is intuitive. Each section of your website should strengthen your objectives, and any page not linked to the website’s aim should be shut down to prevent misunderstanding or confusion.

3. The sitemap is vital for SEO positioning:

Many SEOs on the website assist in optimizing the site, but occasionally overlooked are sitemaps. For search engine web crawling robots, the sitemap of your website is of critical relevance and helps search engines compute the number of pages on your site and analyze how often those pages are changed and how often. Therefore, if you modify your site, the search map tells the search engine about the alteration, and the modification is indexed faster than without a map.

Since your seating map provides a link to every page on the site, you would follow every link on your seating map if the search engine robot visits your seating map. Each search engine is therefore indexed for each page of your website.

If the links for all the main pages are contained in the database, it is more probable that your site appears when the user makes a query. In addition, Google favors websites that include an optimized sitemap search engine. Suppose your site isn’t indexed or classified by crawlers surrounding your website. The effect would be a decline in organic traffic throughout your site.

It would help if you linked to your Homepage a well-planned site map. This facilitates finding and tracking by search engines to the site.

The search engine might unintentionally encounter a dead-end page and stop if it is connected to other pages. Also, many SEO professionals believe that your map should have just 40 links because this might confuse visitors and arouse suspicion in the search engine.

An excellent map offers a fast overview of your Website, uses vital keywords, makes the search engine robots simple to follow, and shows people quickly where they need to be.

4. Advantages of sitemap:

You may quickly collect feedback from your site using sitemaps if there are broken, missing, or incorrect links. Although the problem should be resolved as quickly as possible, sitemaps might provide a temporary remedy and aid in the interim.

If you alter your site material, keep it current and helpful to your visitors’ demands, can you maintain high ranks in the search engines. If you have utilized a maker of a site map or have produced a sitemap yourself, Google will be notified when the contents of your site are changed.

The primary reason you spend time and money developing fresh material for your website is that you want to be found by customers online, and having a sitemap will help you get seen quickly. For new websites, this is highly advised since it jumpstarts activity, attention, and income.

Some information, such as news articles, should be provided when still fresh. You must not wait and guess if your website is going to be visited by spiders. This time you have cut considerably.

By watching your sitemap reports, you may learn a great lot. You will be alerted of any inaccuracies that will correct you and from which keywords your traffic comes; you may use this fact to enhance the content of your website and attract more visitors.

Inputs from multiple company partners, such as a designer, project manager, or your sales, are typically included in websites that a single individual buys. A seating chart ensures that everyone in the project is on the same page and not static so that your company is likely to alter. The sitemap may be used to track your projects, what has been finished, what remains to be done, and what progress has been achieved.

Conclusion:

Effective SEO is much more than leveraging your website keywords. You also need all the information you need for your content to be provided by search engines like Google.

Set-up is one of the easiest and most acceptable approaches to this process. This pages list will give search engine crawlers all the specified file failed upload tests. Specified file failed upload test. need to know about the pages and structure of your website.

You may quickly create a map by utilizing an online generator, as we have shown. Then you just upload it to your website and add it to the Google Search Console to speed up the process of crawling.

SEO strategies are changing rapidly for businesses. also, it is needful for Brand awareness. You can no longer stick to your old plan of keyword stuffing and link building mindset, or you will fail miserably.

You can’t even depend on any blog or Google to tell how to optimize your website. SEO is no longer about link building at all. It would be best if you had creativity, cross-collaboration, and new thinking to win the game of SEO. You should have sustainable strategies to drive organic traffic and improve media operations. It is very vital to understand the user. It is not easy to get the users on the page to engage with your website.

SEO is evolving. So, it would be best if you also grew in the online space. You need to be more creative with your work to improve long-term engagement and optimize websites.

The Changing Dynamics of SEO

The SEO, human psychology, technology, machine, media, and mindset of people are interconnected, and it will change the game of digital marketing. SEO experts should now become storytellers and pro marketers to sell and communicate a brand and create a search strategy. Your digital message should meet the user’s intent and mindset and deliver what a searcher wants while building brand awareness.

What SEO Experts have to do For Brand awareness?

SEO experts should provide the right content to the right audience, making it inspiring and easy to digest. Here’s what marketers should do –

Know the target audience

Ensure the positive user experience

Figure out how to optimize the websites

Consider the visuals and language to connect with audiences

All such elements are combined for SEO. People are always in a hurry. They don’t have much attention span. They need information fast. So, your content and website should load quickly and deliver everything that they want easily.

You need to understand what the user wants and go deeper into the layers of their desires to influence their behaviors. SEO experts are now digital wizards who know how to connect with users and deliver what they want by understanding their psychology.

Consider what target audiences look for and attract them to deal with a brand to engage your audience completely. SEO pros now have to work harder to optimize for various marketing goals. It takes a lot of thinking to hire the users to stick to your brand once they visit your website.

This is where SEO pros have to be creative and think beyond targeting keywords and search volume. They will need to look at the bigger picture to integrate human behavior and deploy a strategy that works.

Think like a Machine and Know the Human Mind

Semantics and neural networks have worked together to come up with all algorithms that Google uses. So, we need to know how search engines are affecting our SEO strategies and how our mind influences –

What we feel

How do we search

How we act

What to click

What we find and

How we react

Google gives information to the users, and they decide whether they should click on it. Google thinks like a human as it considers the relationship between neural networks, search phrases, links, and websites. So, marketers have to do these things –

Know the brands completely

Understand how they can reach the right audiences

Be seen by the audiences and educate them in the right channels

Since no two minds can be the same, no searches are the same either. Different people have different needs and desires. They search for various reasons, and they look at the world in the other way. SEO experts need to understand human behavior, how Google works, and how language and semantics work together to build SEO results.

Brands to be more Value Driven and Aware

The future of SEO will need brands to be more purposeful and value-oriented to attract the audience, especially Gen-Next ones. Without a strong message and brand awareness, you can’t even encourage the audience to enter your site, click through your site, engage on social channels, or gain more insights about the company. Marketers need to know the target audiences. Perspective is going to be everything to get into the user’s desires, mind, and needs. Here, you should know –

What they need

What attracts consumers

Why do they search

Their values and desires that influence their reactions

Their subconscious mind

This is how you can have followers for the long term and make a severe impact. It is because you won’t be able to create brand loyalty and long-term followers without good content, quality branding, and a website to communicate with them.

Less Typing and More Voice Search with Innovation

We are living in an information-driven world. It would be best to discover what will ultimately help you grow as a brand to earn consumers who will stick to your brand in the long term. Brands should appear less corporate, more humanly, and have all the values for humanity. People should promote brands to align with. They will naturally buy, share, and engage with their favorite brands, along with just buying their products. With the creation of new gadgets and technology evolution, voice search has become a new normal.

SEO experts have to adapt to new technology and learn how AI will be driving more users. The machine already knows and hears what the user is mentioning and talking about. So, you should optimize more advanced media and deliver compelling content and messages.

Everything should be well optimized to meet users’ needs

AI and technological advances are going to have a significant impact on SEO and digital marketing. Marketers should learn machine learning and how machines interpret language. Know how technology and AI work together to come up with a marketing strategy that works.

Human emotions and minds decide what is real, and this is what technology reflects. Please create your reality with what they feel and think, and it helps you drive their behaviors. Keep in mind that online technologies and devices reflect what we believe. SEO experts need to know humans to optimize their offerings to their needs.

SEO experts should understand how they can use marketing strategies and unify to deliver an inspiring message to people to interact with their products and brands. You can have a team to optimize the content and design a strategy to promote your products and brands. Teamwork is essential to solving more significant SEO problems.

SEO Should Be Used to Build Trust and Deliver the best Online and Brand Experience

Using relationships and partnerships to build popularity and credibility is the future of SEO. It is very vital to gain traction online through different media platforms and other websites. Real links from several media outlets and high authority websites can increase brand validity.

Brands may look more credible and attractive through both humans and machines by creating links using highly reliable sources and using PR efforts to showcase their business online. If marketing experts are not curious, not ready to adapt and develop an open mind, they cannot work with technology.

Brand awareness is where the future of SEO lies. It spreads messages to the audiences in the long term. We all want a global change, more freedom, unity, equality, and happiness. So, we should work together and use media and tech to inspire people and build marketing initiatives.

Marketers and brands are highly responsible for ranking and to inspire more audience, convey better pictures related to humanity, and help companies to appear more human than being more corporate.

Duplicate content is an issue that can get a penalty to your website. Google always asks to write unique and good content to get rid of the panda penalty. There may be many factors in ranking a website in Google SERPs, but alongside that, there are factors that can get you a Google penalty, if avoided. Canonicalization is one of the major factors that can get you a Panda Penalty.

In this post of mine, I will be sharing how you can solve the canonical issue to avoid the Panda penalty or duplicate content issues on your own Website. Canonicalization is a basic On-Page SEO tag that helps the search engines to consider one URL for your Website or blog.

Learn:

On-Page SEO techniques which you must know.

Complete SEO Guide for Beginners.

What is Canonicalization (canonical Issue)?

When for the first time I heard the word canonicalization, I was thinking of some other meaning of it. As the word is difficult to speak and spell but it has great weight. Well, let me explain to you the term canonicalization. Many SEO experts and webmasters use the term Canonical issue.

I will try to explain this term and how you can use this term to solve your canonical issue.

Suppose we have two URLs for a blog or a website (like the links below).

https://example.com

https://www.example.com

If both of the above URLs show the same content and no redirects are allowed on these two URLs. Like “https://example.com” is not redirected to “https://www.example.com” and vice-versa using the canonical tag. This will be considered duplicate content for Google, and the site owner will face the panda penalty for the duplicate content. And solving this canonical issue can be termed canonicalization.

This can even happen with a plane Website without CMS. Which may have an index.php file and the domain name and if this canonical issue is not solved then one can face the penalty for duplicate content from Google or other search engines.

https://example.com

https://example.com/index.php

If the above of both URLs show the same content, then that will be considered as duplicate content for Google.

Although search engines are becoming good enough and are also using artificial intelligence. But we still need to conform to the search engines which URL they must follow. Actually, search engines use bots that can’t decide whether the URL is from the same page or different. These bots will consider duplicate content if we do not solve the canonical issue.

If the URL of your website appears with both the non-www and www in any of your browsers, then it is for sure that you need to fix this canonical issue. You must fix your server’s settings so that your website URL appears with only one URL so that whether you type the URL of your blog with www or without www in any of your browsers, it redirects to only one URL. You can try my blog’s URL to check this issue. Either you type the URL of my blog with or without the www, but the URL of my blog will automatically be redirected to the “https://www.trickyenough.com/.” So, if you are using both two URLs for your blog or website, then there is an important tag that you can use to let the search engine know which URL they must follow, you simply use rel=” canonical.” And just this simple tag can save you from getting a penalty.

Recommended:

How to Check Duplicate Content Using Copyscape?

Redirection of the links – Are bad or Good for SEO?

How to perfectly apply the URL Canonicalization?

For implementing the URL canonicalization perfectly, you need not code long lines. For solving the canonical issue you just need to type a single line of the tag. You can check the below tag for the same.

<link rel=”canonical” href=”https://example.com/index.php”>

Let’s understand with the help of an example: suppose your website or blog has two URLs and both URLs have the same content and you need to show Google that the content belongs to one source only and no content is duplicate or identical to each other.

https://example.com/indexp.php

https://example.com

Now Google thinks that the above two URLs are different, but you can simply use the tag canonical for the “https://example.com/index.php” to convey to Google that the URL is identical or canonical to the “https://example.com/.” And I am sure that doing this will help Google understand easily that there is no duplicate content on your site and you will be saved from the Google penalty.

Where to use this Canonicalization tag?

This tag must be placed in the header section of your website or blog. The tag will not work if placed somewhere instead of in the header section. You can check the below image for reference.

In the above image, you can see that I have kept the canonical tag in the header section only. There are two canonical tags for the blog because blogs have multiple pages with posts. Then that tag can be used next to the canonical tag like this:

<link rel=”next” href=”https://example.com/page/2/”/>

How to solve the canonical issue in WordPress:

WordPress is one of the most popular platforms and solving the canonical issue with it is also important and easy. I have worked with many WordPress websites and blogs and believed that you need not put the canonical tag in the header section. You can simply use Some SEO plugins like SEO Yoast and All in One SEO to their work easily.

If you are not familiar with WordPress, then I suggest you first read why to use WordPress for your blog and then a complete guide to starting your own self-hosted WordPress blog.

As in the above image, you can see that you can easily use a URL for your blog and website. Whether you want to go with the www or non-www URL of your blog or website, it’s your will but make sure not to fall victim to duplicate content.

So, after installing WordPress, I suggest you check your general setting in your WordPress and fix the URL if there is any problem.

If the URL in the general setting is the same as it was while installing it, then you can leave the other thing on the SEO plugins. And I am sure that you will not be facing any penalty with your blog or website.

When must you be using Canonicalization?

It is not only important to use a canonicalization tag on the place, but it is also important to decide when you must use it. Because there may be a situation or CMS, or coding when we need not use the canonical tag.

You must solve the canonical issue when in need: below are the conditions given:

When there are two URLs for the same content.

When mobile sites are having the same content on little different URLs.

Having HTTP and HTTPS URLs with the same content.

Also, when categories and tags have the same content.

When the website has non-www and www versions showing the same content.

Suggested post:

Moving your WordPress site from HTTP to HTTPS for free.

Best Copyscape alternatives to check plagiarism.

Other things to be kept in mind while doing canonicalization:

Do not use multiple canonical tags. If your blog or site has multiple canonical tags, then it will be considered a bad SEO practice. Try to use only one canonical tag with clear preferences. I have also written a post on the things that hurt SEO, so I recommend you to read it.

Try not to add canonicalization tag on the second page of your URL as possible that Google may not index the URL. What I meant to say is that Skip pagination canonical Issue. The Sitechecker tool will help you analyze your site and find the problem of multiple canonical URLs. You can also check out a detailed list of tips on how to fix this problem.

Never use the canonical tags on the Links which are shortened. Applying a tag to the shortened URL will end up in many errors. It will be better to use shortened links for Better indexing.

For solving the canonical issue with mobile versions of the website. Google has suggested using the two Rel tags, (rel=” alternate” and rel=” canonical”) which specify that the URL of the mobile version is showing the same content as the other site. (although due to the responsiveness of the page, bloggers are not using the re=” alternate” tag. The site is responsive which means one can use the same themes on the website on the desktop and mobile devices as well). But if you are still willing to apply this tag then here is the perfect tag for it. <link rel=”alternate” href=”your link (URL of your blog)” media=” only screen and (max-width :640px)”>

As I mentioned earlier also that it will be a waste of time to place the canonical tag outside the header tag. So, if you are not using the tag in the section (<head> header section</header>) then Google bots will not be able to grab that tag, and your site will end up in a penalty.

Using multiple canonical tags will also be a waste of time. As search engines are going to ignore those tags and your blog or website will face many errors and many cases Google penalty.

Do to use redirects like 301 and 302. Because this forces search engines to grab one extra URL. In actuality, Google crawls 2 URLs and if this redirection is done permanently instead of temporary redirection, then you can face the Google penalty. And even the 404 code for a long time could make a penalty for your website.

Finally, what I want to Say:

On-page SEO is more important than Off-page SEO because if the On-Page SEO is not done correctly then doing Off-Page SEO is a waste of time. So, canonicalization is an important part of On-page SEO, and this canonical issue must be solved with perfection to get rid of the Google Penalty.

So, if you are still facing any problems with the canonical issue or have any questions, feel free to ask me anything in your comments.

Are you using Long tail keywords in your post?

Don’t you have a reason: why use long tail keywords?

Are they helping you to get more organic traffic?

And

Are you using the long Tail keywords and not getting traffic to your blog?

Well, today I will provide you the reasons that why use Long Tail keywords. And how you can get more organic traffic using them. Although you must not depend on organic traffic only, you must also care about the traffic from email marketing or some referral traffic. But getting organic traffic from search engines to make your blog shine is more important.

Although the organic traffic is considered as the best traffic to you the blogs or websites. But you should also follow other internet marketing techniques.

What are Long Tail keywords?

Before we move further, I want to give a small description of “what are Long Tail keywords?“.

Well, long-tail keywords are the long phrases that are more used by the searchers on Google and can be termed as the long-tailed keywords. Let me, explain to you with the help of an example. Suppose you search the word “Orange,” then this can be considered as Keyword but if you search on Google “Where to buy oranges online” then this phrase will be regarded as a Long Tail keyword.

Now let’s get to the main Topic, Why use Long Tail keywords?

There are many reasons to use long-tail keywords, and I will be giving you the reasons why I use Long Tail keywords. It has been almost five years that I am working in the field of SEO and from my experience, I have learned that long-tail keywords are much easier to rank than common keywords. It is a lot harder to bring an “ordinary single word” keyword on the first page of Google in such a short time but whereas long-tailed keywords can appear up on the first page of Google in a short period of time.

Check What Google Keyword Planner says:

Google keyword planner clarifies that Long Tail keywords help us to boost our website or blog traffic. Choosing a long-tailed keyword means that you are going with higher search volume and little competition.

Let me explain you with the help of an example:

Example: If you search the word “SEO” on the Google Keyword Planner you will get average monthly search for the keyword in millions and competition will be medium.

But I assure you that you won’t be able to reach the first page of Google by using this single keyword unless you pay to Google using Google AdWords, the reason behind this is Google’s Algorithms.

Google has many algorithms that are responsible for the search and search queries; the Hummingbird algorithm is in charge of all the search queries and the latest addition to it is the Google Rank Brain which makes it more effective. The other factors like domain authority and page authority, the reputation of the website, domain age, and uniqueness matter a lot. So, with a new internet site, it won’t be possible to rank for a single keyword.

Recommended:

How to increase domain authority?

In the above image, you can see that there are Long Tail keywords that you can optimize on your page or blog posts to get some quick ranking. But you must keep the density of the keywords appropriate by using the LSI keyword in it.

The chances are that your keyword may appear up at the back at fourth or fifth pages if the content is unique enough using a single keyword.

In the above image, you can see that when we search the keyword SEO the sites named search engine land, Wikipedia, and MOZ appear up in the first three positions of the Google first page and will be on the first page with the same keyword for years because the age of their domains is too old, their domain authority is near about 100 and these sites are regularly updated.

And what if we search a long tail keyword like “SEO tutorials in Amritsar” you can see that the results have changed.

In the above image, you can see that there are some YouTube videos appearing up and some other local sites. Amritsar is the place where I live, and so preferred this search for it. When you see the domain age and domain authority of these websites, you will find that the domain age and domain authority as well as the reputation of these websites are much less than the above-searched sites but still are appearing up on the first page of Google.

Well, I think this example is enough that Long-tail keywords are easy to rank and help to get more traffic.

Recommended:

What Google Webmaster proves:

Just go to the Google webmaster tools of your website and you will find that many long phrases which were searched on Google and got impressions or click from that.

From the above image that you can find the keywords from which I am getting the traffic. Most of the keywords are Long Tail keywords.

And I must that the long-tail keyword has always worked for me, and it has just been six months that I was able to get a good reputation for my Blog.

What you search on Google?

As an internet surfer, web developer, blogger, or ordinary person you must be searching for many things on Google, and I am sure you must be searching as same as I search. As a developer and blogger I rarely seek single queries, what I search is long phrases like

As a developer:

How to develop a WordPress plugin?

Which is the best SEO Plugin?

How to solve the canonical issue?

As a blogger:

How to make the content unique?

Which is the best Grammar checking Tool?

How can I create shareable content?

I am sure you will be using these kinds of queries, or you can also say long-tailed keywords for searching on Google. And when we search for this sort of question, we always get the things which we are looking for. Whereas with a single keyword, It won’t be possible. Single keywords can be used to get information about something particular.

Although, I think I have given some proves for why use long tail keywords for getting more organic traffic.

Now, I think Your Next step will be to find longtail keywords?

And Secondly, If you still have any questions, let me know through the comments and I will there to help you.

Long-tail keywords are best known for getting loads of organic traffic to blogs and websites, and almost every marketer is using long-tail keywords nowadays.
So, today in this post of mine I will be helping you with “How to find long-tail keywords.” Although looking for some good long-tail words is not a big deal but still, for those who are struggling to find them, I will be helping.

How can you find long-tail keywords?

You must be knowing some tools or techniques to find long-tail keywords, but I will be sharing all the techniques and tips which I have used until today to find them. I have used Google Keyword Planner, Quora, Google Trends, Search related to, and some more.

1. Google Keyword Planner:

I have been using the Google keyword planner for years. My first step in learning SEO as a beginner was from Google keyword planner and I love this tool. And most importantly it does not do partiality with any user; it gives each person the same and exact keywords shown to the other users.

As competition is increasing day by day but still the marketers are working hard to get better results. And they are getting results no doubt.

The reason they are getting better results is that they can get long-tail keywords with more traffic and less competition.

Image Credits: Screenshot taken from the website

You can see in the image that the keyword I searched was only “SEO Tutorials” and the planner came with some Google long-tail words. Now you can choose keywords with little competition and average or higher monthly search.

Image Credits: Screenshot taken from the website

You can choose the keywords like

Search engine optimization tutorial

SEO for beginners

These keywords will have better chances to appear up in the Google SERPs as quickly as possible.

Note: Instead of clicking on the “Ad Group Ideas,” just click on the “Keyword ideas” one of the best reasons for doing it is that it will help you to find better long-tailed keywords. You can find the details in the above image.

2. Related Search:

You would have noticed, on scrolling to the bottom of the search results in Google; you can find a section in which you can name a section called “Searches related to.”

Here’s the screenshot for the same.

Image Credits: Screenshot taken from the website

This section that is named “searches related to” can help to find the desired keywords and to get more traffic as well.

Just search the keyword which you want to target, and you will get some better suggestions instantly.

You can select the keywords from it which you think will work better for you. These keywords are also termed LSI (latent semantic indexing) keywords. Also, the use of these keywords in the post with the main keyword will enhance your article, and there are better chances that Google’s Rank Brain algorithm will rank it on Google’s First Page.

In the “Searches related to” section, you will obviously get a mixture of keywords with the keyword searched by you in it.

You can see that when I went through the term SEO tutorials, the “Searches related to” shows some great long-tailed keywords. Like you can use:

SEO tutorials step by step.

SEO tutorials for beginners.

3. Pinterest:

It is one of the top infographic websites. Millions of users submit millions of infographics each day. But besides that, it has some other amazing features. It also provides you with the opportunity to present your website to it as a search engine and verify it also.

But let’s talk about the features which can help us to get some Long-tail keywords as well as LSI keywords.

Image Credits: Screenshot taken from the website

In the above image you can see that while typing the word, you can get the suggestions for the keyword you are searching for. I have always used these tools to find some good keywords and then check their completion and traffic on Google keyword planner again.

4. Uberuggest:

Image Credits: Screenshot taken from the website

UberSuggest is another excellent tool that can help you find keywords. It gets the information from Google Suggest. This tool provides more keywords suggestions than many other tools.

What makes this tool unique is that it provides a lot more keyword suggestions than Soovle.

It works amazingly.

It can provide you with hundreds of suggestions for the keywords you search, and that is in alphabetical order.

Let me explain you with the help of an example:

When you search on other search engines like Google, Pinterest, or Bing, you get suggestions while typing the keywords.

But with the Ubersuggest you just need to type one keyword only, and you will get suggestions from all the alphabets, From A to Z.

Like when I searched “SEO tutorials” in the search box I amazingly got 215 results. You can see the below images for a better understanding.

Image Credits: Screenshot taken from the website

Image Credits: Screenshot taken from the website

They also provide amazing video tutorial which helps you better understand the usage of Ubbersuggest:

5. Google Webmaster Tools:

Image Credits: Screenshot taken from the website

The webmaster is a more valuable tool than any other tool I have used till today. Many bloggers think that the best keyword is that which you are already ranking on the Google SERPs.

And Google webmaster tools help you to find those keywords which you are already ranking on the Google SERPs.

One of my friends named Prince Ramgharia told me this and actually what this trick worked and helped me to move some already ranking keywords to the first page.

Image Credits: Screenshot taken from the website

In the above image, you can see that the keywords on which my site is getting clicks and impressions. You can use the long-tail keywords from here to reign on Google SERPs.

Another excellent tip that he gave me was to use these already searched keywords in the current existing posts, mainly in the Meta description of my posts.

So, What I suggest to you, try this for sure.

6. Soovle:

It is the easiest tool I have used to get suggestions for keywords. If you are using this tool, then you need not visit multiple sites. The site gets its data from Google Suggest, YouTube, Wikipedia, answers.com, Bing, and Yahoo.

Image Credits: Screenshot taken from the website

Suppose if you are searching for a keyword like “SEO tutorials” again. Then the results will be like this (below image).

Image Credits: Screenshot taken from the website

This tool is a great help because just in one search you will be able to know what kind of long-tail keywords are required to rank on Google, Yahoo, YouTube, and Bing.

I always prefer this tool for newbies and for those who want to rank on all search engines but not only Google.

7. Google Trends:

Google Trends is not only my favorite research tool, but I think a tool liked by all the bloggers in every niche.

This tool can help you to get high-traffic keywords in your niche. The name Google trends itself confirms that we can get any new research on keywords like traffic and competition before any other tool like Google keyword planner.

Another amazing feature of Google trends is that you can check the interest in the Keyword over time.

Image Credits: Screenshot taken from the website

Just go there and search terms, I am using “SEO tutorials” in this post of mine, so will continue with the same. We can see in the above image that how many keywords were searched from 2005 to now.

Image Credits: Screenshot taken from the website

And check the above image for which I am writing this post (you just have to scroll down a little to check it). As you can see that there are two related keywords terms. That means that what people are currently searching for is the alternate of this keyword.

8. Quora:

Image Credits: Screenshot taken from the website

Quora for some webmasters is a very good source of referral traffic. Even I use it for the same and surely get a good amount of referral traffic through it.

Quora is a Questioning and answering site where you can question and answer about anything (it is similar to answers.com and yahoo answering).

You first have to create an account on Quora. Logging in is an important part because you won’t be able to access any features of the website without providing your details.

Now just search for the search option, on the top of the website, and search the keyword.

Image Credits: Screenshot taken from the website

When you start typing the keyword like Google, queries will appear up with the different questions already answered or unanswered. But we are looking for the long tail keyword so check the keyword which you which want to use. I would mainly recommend this to write a better post title.

Once you get these questions or keywords, return to the Google keyword planner that how this keyword is used (checking the competition and search volume).

9. Keywordtool.Io:

KeywordTool.io is a free and excellent tool that is best known for generating long-tail keywords.

It is something like Soolve.com and UberSuggest. This tool also grabs its content from multiple search engines as Bing, Amazon, and Google suggest.

Image Credits: Screenshot taken from the website

Like soolve.com, the keyword.Io tool provided me with the same number of results as 215. And the results are in alphabetical sequence. You can see the image below.

Image Credits: Screenshot taken from the website

Another new feature that Keywordtool.Io provides is Search according to the country; you can select Google.co.In, Google.co.Jp, Google.co.il and or any other country for which you are going to rank the keyword.

10. HitTail:

I have not used the Hittail although some of my friends have suggested it to me many times. I didn’t try it because it is paid, not free at all. Most of them say that it helps to make a list of long-tail keywords and which is an amazing help.

Image Credits: Screenshot taken from the website

HitTail is best known for suggesting other long-tail keywords for the targeted keyword. Which helps in better ranking and getting more traffic to your blog.

11. Bing:

If you are using other tools then why not use Bing for finding an LT keyword for your blog or website. It is much easy to use and mainly to get more related searches.

Just search on Bing, the keyword about which you want relevant keywords. And with just a single click you will get the corresponding searches like Google.

Image Credits: Screenshot taken from the website

In the above image, you can see that related search terms are appearing. And also, you can find these related searches at the end of the search results and choose some Long tail keywords for you.

An Extra tool

12. SEM Scoop:

Image Credits: Screenshot taken from the website

It is a smart out-of-the-box keyword research and SERP analysis tool for digital marketers, bloggers, and small businesses
who are interested in improving their site’s overall ranking. It can help find true ranking opportunities & low SEO difficulty terms to create smart and competitive content.

Finally, what I want to say:

Long-tail keywords have become an important part of SEO. And using these keywords we can get more targeted traffic. There are many other paid tools for getting this kind of keyword. I would only like to give a little mention to them. Those tools are Keyword Discovery, Word Tracker, and LongtailPro.com. I have only shared the free tools which you can use to find the Long tail keywords.

And I don’t think so that after reading this post you need to search on google for how to find long-tail keywords. But if still, you have any questions or queries, I will always be there to help you. And also, if you know any other tool which can be used to find some long-tailed keywords, then help me make this post even more valuable.

How much time are you spending in between writing an article and then clicking the publish button?

Do you verify whether the article is perfectly SEO optimized or not?

As a beginner, most bloggers are eagerly waiting to click on the publish button to increase the post count of their blogs. But in a hurry most of the time, they miss the basic on-page SEO techniques which help their article to become more optimized and search engine friendly to rank better on Google SERPs.

Due to excitement, most of the beginner bloggers miss out such simple & easy to follow on-page SEO checklist items before clicking the publish button of the article.

What is On-Page Optimization & Why it is so important?

Before proceeding further, let me tell in very short what is on-page SEO techniques for beginners, with a simple example. Assume that you are preparing a blog post after doing some keyword research. I hope you are aware of keyword research techniques, if not you will learn about them further in this post.

Now when someone searches with the keywords, will your article appear in first 2-3 articles, so that user clicks on that?

You may find that there are thousands of similar articles on the topic.

Then how your article will beat them all and become number one?

The answer is, you have to optimize your article by following all key SEO checklists.

Every search engine is nothing but a program only which continuously scans various articles and measures them with different parameters and then accordingly ranks them. As a blogger, you should know, what are those parameters which actually impact search engine ranking positions and then change your article accordingly.

Now that doesn’t mean that if you follow all of them, you will achieve the first position in Google. Even if you achieve the first position, someone may write a better SEO optimized content to beat your ranking position. That means you have to make your article SEO optimized and time to time re-do this activity to optimize further to keep your ranking well. Another thing which you need to have is quality links to your blog but that I will be telling you about backlinks in some other post or you can check this post for the same “Search engine optimization techniques that worked for me.”

9 On-Page SEO Techniques for Getting Better Search Engine Ranking

In this article, I will try to explain the very basic and easy to follow on-page SEO techniques which can increase the chance of ranking your article better on the Google SERPs. They are in fact the core on-page SEO techniques which will hardly take much time to apply; in fact, when you will be used to apply them you can apply all such basic on-page techniques while preparing your article itself.

1) Brainstorming or Keyword Research:

Keyword research is the essential part of writing any content. Whenever you are writing an article, you should know which search queries or keywords you would like people to get your article. You may use Google Keyword Planner for getting a keyword for your post. So, the placement of keywords within the content is very crucial. Make sure you keep the main keyword in title, permalink, first paragraph, Meta description & in any of the tags (H2, H3, etc.).

2) Look for Related search terms (LSI):

When you are preparing your content on a specific keyword, you have to make sure that all the relateád searches of queries related to the main keyword are also included in the content to make the article more useful and informative. This will help your article to rank better, and readers may find it more useful. You can also check a tutorial for related search Terms.

3) Clean URL Structure:

I have noticed many beginners like to put every possible keyword term in the article SLUG or URL to improve the chance of ranking better. But the fact is, it will make things uglier. It is always better to make the URL short & to the point of the article. E.g. I kept the URL of this article as simple as “on-page SEO techniques.” So, just try to add only the keyword in the URL of your post, it will be a better method for ranking.

4) Page Title:

The title plays a huge role when we talk about ranking your content. Try to create a catchy title including the main keyword in it. If possible, put the main keyword at the beginning of the heading, but don’t force the keyword in the beginning just for the sake of ranking benefit. There are few WordPress plugins with which one can easily get catchy article title suggestions. Sometimes a page title becomes a query and becomes a reason for better ranking.

5) Meta Description:

Although Google has changed their algorithm many times in last few years, the concept of Meta description still rules the SEO world. A proper and to the point Meta description will always give a better signal to the crawler to rank your article. So, make sure you provide a good and meaningful Meta description covering the main keywords naturally. There is a complete guide to Meta description which may prove helpful to you.

6) Content-Length:

Gone are the days when a short article was able to rank better. But in 2016, search engines give priority to detailed & useful content which actually explain every aspect of a topic to the user. Make sure you write your blog post with enough detail and more than 600+ words. Although there is no such rule, a blog post with 1000+ words and more information about the topic will have better chance to get rank well compared to a shorter article is less information. It is because the content is still the important Part of SEO and will be for years. But in some cases, the length of the post can help you to get a good ranking to your post.

7) Interlinking:

Interlinking blog post within your article is a very good way to build quality links to your old blog posts from your content itself. Try to link the same article with various long tail keyword rich anchor text to improve the SERP. Interlinking may help you in lowering your Bounce rate.

8) Reference article:

Providing Dofollow an external link to relevant and related content is a new SEO practice which has very good on-page SEO value. You might have noticed that I have provided a wiki page reference in this article itself to provide the user a good source of information, in case the user wants to know about that term. But if you are writing a review for any product then make sure you give only Nofollow links to the source. I will request you to read an explanatory guide about Nofollow and Dofollow links.

9) An Image with alt tag:

Finally, make sure you put an image relevant to your article while keeping all image optimization factors ticket. Put a description and alt tag covering the main keyword of the article. Make sure if you take any image from any online source you provide necessary credit to that. Otherwise, you can easily get free images from websites like Pixabay and Pixaocean easily.

If you are a new Blogger:
