Yes, Google must do something about it. But there are also others in the competition, So I think will be difficult.

Just because it has got a better credibility to get into the eyes of users. Ended in blocking the genuine targetted ads too.

Google needs to find some ways to get whitelisted through these blockers. AdSense is the main source of income for many bloggers who are not into affiliate marketing.
