Support for the devices could stop anytime next week as iOS 18 will be out by then. Devices still using iOS 16 will be affected by this change. To be able to run Netflix, users will have to install iOS 17 or higher to use the streaming app. Users can still use Netflix if their phone falls under the category of discontinued support Netflix users for these devices can still access the accounts and rt. But no more updates will be given to these devices.

The affected iPhones and iPads include the iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPad Pro (1st generation) and iPad (5th generation). Users who are still on iOS 16 will still be able to go into account and perform all functions just like before. It will simply stop receiving updates.
