The China-based tech company has stated that the 320W SuperSonic Charge is capable of fully charging a smartphone in less than five minutes. Realme stated that their new charging technology takes only a minute to charge it to 26%. For the phone to reach 50% of the battery, it impressively takes less than two minutes.

The company has termed the 320W adapter as a ‘Pocket Cannon’ and this power adapter features a 3.3W/cm power density. The adapter is compatible with most charging protocols including the SuperVOOC and UFCS. It also comes with two separate USB-C ports so that users can charge their devices at the same time. The 150W port and the 65W port can be used for Realme phones and supported laptops respectively.

During the Realme 828 Fanfest event, representatives from the company demonstrated the charging technology. The representatives showcased the rapid charging of a 4,420 mAh battery. The battery is dubbed the world’s first foldable battery. Additionally, four cells were laid above each other.

The company has also announced the AirGap Voltage Transformer at the event. The transformer comes equipped with a hands-free electromagnet conversion for phones. This makes sure that the high voltage stays away from the battery, especially during times of technical fallout. Realme has stated that the AirGap allows the 320W SuperSonic Charge to reach 98% power effectiveness.

Realme Set To Launch Another Smartphone

Realme is ready to launch another smartphone in India. This is going to be the third smartphone since the Realme 12 Pro launch. Before the launch, a lot of the leaked and speculated details had been confirmed by Realme.

Specifications

It is confirmed that the Realme 12X 5G will have a 5,000 mAh battery, supporting a 45W superVOOC charging. The company claims the phone could easily get charged up from 0 to 50 percent in 30 minutes. Realme 12X 5G will offer the fastest charging speed in its price segment. The device could also be used as a power bank to charge other devices.

When it comes to display, the device features a bright 120 Hz display. It has also been confirmed to include the fastest 6nm 5G chipset and is going to be the only smartphone in this price point with dual speakers.

The Realme is expected to have advanced VC cooling technology. It is expected that the device will have more features like the dynamic button and the Air Gestures such as seen in the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G.

Price

Considering that Realme is planning to release the Realme 12X 5G as an entry-level phone, it could be compared with its previous models. Since the Realme 11X 5G was launched with a price of 12,999, it could be said that Realme 12X 5G might as well be priced similarly.

Design

In the recent launches by Realme, it was pretty clear that Realme has been focusing on short-hand design. Unnecessary touch-up on the device’s design to make it look attractive. This was seen in Narzo 70 Pro 5G. But for Realme 12X 5G, it doesn’t seem like there’s much of a design work put in. Apart from the camera module and the metal strip in the middle of the phone, the phone carries a very minimalist yet modern look.
