It's not a sexy job, I must submit, but it is arguably the most important task you need to do as a blog owner. Optimizing your blog for low-hanging fruit keywords (low competition and high search volume) allows you to rank for those keywords without much effort. This way, you can continue focusing on providing value with your content.

Hi Chris,

I love doing keyword research. I have to admit, that I don’t spend a lot of time doing it. I currently use Long Tail Pro and I love it. It’s nice to know that there are several different methods that we can use to help us find more keywords.

Every blogger should pay attention to their SEO. While I don’t spend a lot of time implementing SEO. I always make it a point to make sure that I have optimized my blog posts accordingly.

Now that I’ve written over 100 blog posts and my blog is a year old. I am starting to see my Google traffic start to increase.

So all that work I put in at the beginning is starting to pay off. These tips will definitely help bloggers set the right foundation for SEO.

Then they can work on promotion and before you know it, Google starts to recognize and reward your content.
