1. Check the Power Supply: Ensure your Mac has enough power to start up, press the Power button and look for typical signs like the starting up sound, the lighting of the Apple logo on the screen or the back, press the caps lock key to check if the green light indicator works. 6. Reset Non-Volatile Random Access Memory: The NVRAM is responsible for a variety of functions, if you are having trouble with the speaker volume, screen resolution, or startup disk then a reset can solve them. Restart your machine then press and hold the Command, Option, P, and R keys at the same time until the grey screen appears. 7. Boot up in Safe Mode: Press the Power button and hold the Shift key until the login screen appears. Click the Apple logo at the upper left-hand corner and select restart if none of these work you may have to resort to the last option.
