What is a Blog?

Five years ago, when I was studying, I heard a new term called “blog”. I heard it from my friend and was curious to learn more about it because he was earning money with his blog. The first thing that came to mind was “What is a blog?” and how I would be able to make money with a blog.

For me, it was a new term, as I was learning some programming languages and was an ordinary student. I wanted to make money online because my classmate was doing blogging and earning money with his blog.

A blog is a personal diary or journal that is updated frequently. You can also say that a blog is a place where you can express yourself and share your experience with the world. Using it, you can share your passion and thoughts. Actually, a blog is a short form of weblog, and a weblog can be referred to as the plural form of a blog. Both weblog and blog are terms that can be used interchangeably.

Well, what I personally think about a blog is that we can write and share about anything. I have many friends who are running multi-niche blogs and are successful.

Blogger (noun) – A blogger is a person who owns a blog. And his blog can be about anything.

The term can be explained as the day-to-day activities of a blogger. The term blog can also be used as a sharing of personal experiences about their own field.

Who are the people who actually Blog?

There isn’t any age limit set for blogging. Anyone can blog about anything. We can say that they are ordinary people like us, but they are fearless people who are always willing to share their thoughts, opinions, and experiences on the internet. Every day, millions of blog posts are posted by millions of bloggers. These days, competition is increasing because people are making money online by blogging, and for the same reasons, people are more attracted to blogging.

Why do these people blog?

I started my own blog, and there is no doubt that I am getting a good amount from my blog. And likewise, there are many reasons why people do blogging. There are many benefits of blogging, like:

• A blog can help people to get fame on the internet in their niche or field.
• A blog can help to grow your business.
• Promote others’ products to get an affiliate commission.

I think that it would not be wise to tell you only what a blog is. So, I will be telling you a little more than just how and where you can blog. There are many free blogging platforms where you can blog for free. I have collected a list of free blogging platforms where you can actually blog for free and start your career of blogging.
