On Thursday 9th of February Google announced the changing of the name of Bard to Gemini. Google also pointed out a dedicated app for iOS and Android.

Bard AI

Well, it had not been a long time since Bard was launched and introduced to the masses. Users were still figuring out how to use Bard. Bard in its short time received good reviews. Some significant key points made Bard stand out in the Chatbot run. The Google AI bot Bard when compared to the much-talked-over ChatGPT by Open AI was up to date. Where ChatGPT was still stuck in 2019 Bard was significantly providing answers from up to date. Bard later this month got an update and could now generate images on its own. Users widely loved the prompt-to-image feature.

Gemini

Google’s Gemini is like a team of all AI in one. Google’s Gemini conducts understanding and generating code, music, languages, and visuals. This multimodal bot translates languages, writes jingles, deciphers coding, and conjures images, empowering researchers, developers, and everyday users alike. Gemini is the perfect example for the future of AI. Spoken in 2023 by Sundar Pichai (CEO of Google) Gemini has finally taken its place into existence.

The App

Gemini will be available in around 150 countries and territories in English. Gemini Advanced will come as part of the Google One AI Premium Plan for $19.99 a month, starting with a free two-month trial. Google has announced that Gemini is available in 40 languages. The version with Ultra will be called Gemini Advanced, which is designed for reasoning, following instructions, coding, and collaborating creatively. Google claims it can be a personal assistant that can be styled to your learning style.

Gemini on the phone will allow you to type, talk, or add an image for AI assistance while you’re walking or doing physical work. For example, you could take a picture of a flat tire and ask for instructions.

If you download the Gemini app on Android or try it on Google Assistant, you will be able to access it from the app or any other way you normally activate the assistant. So you could hit your power button and activate the Gemini.
