WD Unveils New 4TB SD Card for Creative Professionals

The tech enthusiasts Western Digital announced the launch of the groundbreaking 4TB SD Card designed especially for creative professionals.

With the rise of creative work profiles in all streams of the media industry, the need for a good-quality SD card has become necessary. SD cards have multiple qualities from storing capabilities to helping in faster work. The industry standard for photography and video creation has evolved over the years. With new high-resolution cameras entering the market, professionals are now able to capture at higher resolutions and more frames per second. This creates a demand for large, user-friendly storage facilities.

Western Digital a tech-based company recently launched their new 4TB SD Card. The SanDisk Extreme PRO SDUC UHC-I SD card has shaken the market since its launch marking a Guinness Book world record for the largest removable memory card to smithereens at twice the capacity of biggest microSD cards.

Western Digital unveiled the new SD Card at the NAB Show 2024 in Las Vegas. The SD Card holds a staggering 4TB of storage space, which opens a branch of options for creative professionals to function on. While the SD card remains to be of great buzz, it won’t be available until 2025.

How Does This Benefit Creative Professionals?

Photographers and cinematographers often struggle to keep up with the storage space of their devices. Even so, these creatives would carry with them a pouch full of SD cards. An SD card twice the size of a microSD card provides more storage capacity and reduces the need to constantly manage space. 4TB of storage is equal to like 4 gaming computers.
